Augustusplatz Cam, Leipzig
Augustusplatz itself is marked by a monument dedicated to the renowned composer Johann Sebastian Bach, positioned at the centre of the square. Adjacent to this landmark is the Leipzig Opera House, an architectural marvel known for hosting opera and musical performances. On the eastern side of the square stand the Augusteum and Paulinum, the former being a historical building that served as the main structure of Leipzig University, while the latter is a contemporary reconstruction of the university church
